Popular Actress turned Director Lakshmi Ramakrishnan launched her third directorial venture ‘Ammini’ with a simple pooja in Chennai today. Produced by Mr Ven Govinda for Tag entertainment [P] ltd. ‘Ammini’ is based on a real life character .
Director Lakshmi Ramakrishnan elaborated on the basics behind this film ‘ Ammini is inspired from a very interesting character whom i had met couple of months ago. She had penetrated into me , so too her concept of living. She made me realize on the values of life which many of us do not under stand or at least try to under stand. She taught me the fact that there is a life beyond Economical dependence This is the fulcrum of ‘Ammini’.
I have webbed some interesting characters and intriguing incidents as a pillar of strength to support the basic idea. We are on the verge of some interesting casting and iam determined to work with some acclaimed technicians to take this concept across the nation.I believe in versatility and my films will reflect my belief in the same’ concluded Lakshmi Ramakrishnan with determination that could treat us with a film of content and message.
